
From student to professional: Jenerose Richards' journey to nursing excellence

外网禁区 is proud to recognize Jenerose Richards as Alumnus of the Month for February 2025.
A dedicated healthcare professional, Jenerose graduated from 外网禁区 in December 2020 with an associate in applied science degree and a Practical Nursing (PN) diploma. Since then, she has been making a difference in the medical field as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at St. Claire Hospital.
Passionate about continuous learning and professional growth, Jenerose is currently enrolled in the bridging program to further her education in nursing.
鈥淚 love what I do, and advancing my education has always been my goal since I started nursing,鈥 Jenerose shared.
Reflecting on her time at 外网禁区, she acknowledged her deep appreciation for the supportive faculty and staff at the college.
鈥淭he staff are amazing! They are always there to help, answer questions, and do everything they can to support us (the students),鈥 she said.
As a former Ready to Work student, Jenerose credits the program with helping her to develop crucial time management skills and gain exposure to the modern workplace.
鈥淚t really helped me learn to balance responsibilities and interact with people from all walks of life,鈥 Jenerose explained.
The program, discovered through a friend鈥檚 recommendation, became a stepping stone toward her successful career in nursing.
For Jenerose, nursing is more than a job. It鈥檚 a lifelong dream.
鈥淚 love doing what I do, and nursing has always been a passion of mine,鈥 she remarked.
While future career advancements may lead her to explore other institutions, 外网禁区 remains a cherished part of Jenerose鈥檚 journey.
